I'm Looking for a Spiritual Directorwith Rolling Ridge staff
"Self-care is never a selfish act - it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others." (Parker Palmer)
Join our intimate book discussion group of The Art of Extreme Self-Care Revised Edition: 12 Practical and Inspiring Ways to Love Yourself More. Over six weeks, we will explore Cheryl Richardson's transformative guide to putting yourself first without guilt with Eliza Goodell facilitating this ONLINE series. In a safe and sacred space, we will dive into practical strategies for creating boundaries, saying no with grace, and building sustainable self-care practices that truly nourish.
This group will take place virtually via zoom. It will meet for 6 consecutive weeks.
Our first meeting will consist of introductions and an overview of the book. Five chapters (out of the 12) will be chosen to focus on for the next five weeks.
Each session includes guided discussion, personal reflection, and practical application of the week's concepts.
Click here to purchase a copy of the book. (Make sure to get the second edition, 2019.)
COST: $73.50 for the 6 week series (book not included)
Come as you are, whether you're new to self-care or looking to deepen existing practices. All perspectives and life experiences are welcome as we explore what extreme self-care means for each of us.
I loved the format for each session. The breakout room gave me an opportunity to meet different members and time to express the impact the previous week’s reading assignment had on me. The pace and structure of each session was perfect.

What I enjoyed most about our time together was the exchange of ideas and meaningful discussions among the group. This book prompted me to look at my thoughts and habits, and decide how/if they still serve me.

Eliza kept the group on track and gave helpful suggestions for future reading. This book challenged me to establish a routine, find joy, be less critical of myself, and to be more genuine about my needs and wants.
