Things Hidden: Rohr Book Studywith Larry Jay
It’s been said that all indigenous cultures around the world have a form of the shamanic journey. It’s a way of circumventing the egoic, ever-chattering mind so that we can connect instead, to our sacred wisdom. Earth-based wisdom can help guide us on questions we have about the way we perceive and live our lives, including our aspirations and decisions asking to be made. With all that is going on in our world, now more than ever we need to look to ancient wisdom to guide us and bring us into harmony as a global community.
One of the first journeys is to find an unconditional ally, symbolized through a power animal, to guide you toward your inner knowing. As a practice, it’s a meditation done with a specific beat of a drum that shifts the brain waves into a state that is similar to lucid dreaming.
Over the course of this Day Apart, we’ll gather in a sacred circle where we will:
• Explore a brief history and background of Celtic shamanism
• Move into a journey to discover/reconnect with your own power animal
• Access the teachings and support your animal ally brings to you personally
• Learn how to ask your animal ally for guidance on your life’s challenges
All are welcome, whether this is new or you want to delve deeper into this spiritual path.
Cost: $92 (includes program from 9:30-3:30, pastries and lunch)
