And please remember: Rain showers in the forecast may force us to cancel our OUTDOOR Easter Sunrise Service this year, but rain will never cancel God's promise of new life demonstrated through Christ's resurrection and victory over death. We find the cancellation of our service because of weather disappointing and a bit ironic, but be assured that God's promises never fail even when rains force you to cancel plans.
-------------------
On Easter morning, we will gather at 5:45 am in the courtyard of Rolling Ridge. Please try to arrive on time or a few minutes early. Coffee and pastries will be available by 5:30 am.
Following an opening reflection, we will walk as a group to Point of Pines, our outdoor chapel along the shore of Lake Cochichewick. There are benches, with plenty of standing room. You are free, however, to bring your own folding chair.
Please dress warm and walking shoes. Point of Pines is about a quarter mile from the parking lot, which is approximately a 5 minute walk. Because it may be dark when you arrive, you may want to bring a flashlight.
We invite you to lean into the full experience of Easter by joining us on Good Friday, April 3rd at 6:45 pm as we remember that death is needed for new life in Christ.
Advanced reservations are requested, but not required.
Your generous donation when registering makes it possible for Rolling Ridge to continue offering free events that spiritually support and strength our local community. Thanks for your Easter gift.
Check this web page the day before for weather preparation updates.
