Pray and Paddle is a wonderful event for both novice and experienced paddlers. A paddling and safety orientation begins each session.
Each event is approximately 2-3 hours and take place from 9 a.m. - Noon

On Lake Cochichewick we share in Lectio Divina, an ancient practice of listening to a piece of sacred wisdom, three times. Each reading includes a question to ponder followed by an extended time of paddling in silence. On this paddle we will be accompanied by the wisdom of Hildegarde of Bingen
(1098-1179). An extraordinary renaissance woman who was a doctor, playwright, poet, painter, musician and Christian mystic. She saw Nature as a reflection of the Divine.
