Program Details

COVID19 has forced congregations to make all sorts of concessions and changes. With restrictions being lifted, we at Rolling Ridge recognize that our 38 acres are sacred ground and exactly what some churches might need for worship. Whether it's a large field under an oak tree, a smaller lawn in the shade, or an outdoor chapel beside the shore of Lake Cochichewick, Rolling Ridge is the perfect place for a worship service. With three available spaces (see below) and many Sundays still ahead, we are offering our space to you! It is our sincere desire to see this sacred space appreciated and our beautiful grounds used in a time when we all need a little extra something special amidst such turbulence and fear.Members of your congregation will need to bring lawn chairs and masks. The church will need to provide its own sound system, with the Ridge offering an extra long extension cord to supply power. Parking will be available. It's a "carry in carry out" agreement, with no other amenities but the beauty of Rolling Ridge at your disposal. (The building will not be opened, therefore no restroom facilities will be available).Although there is NO CHARGE to use the space, your donation would be appreciated to continue the mission and ministry of Rolling Ridge as we have suffered a great loss of income. To reserve space, complete the Reservation Request Form at the top of the page, submit your request, and we will let you know if the space and date are available.Upon confirmation, you are invited to worship, respect and honor the space, and find sanctuary at Rolling Ridge, in every sense of the word.
