Program Details

The wisdom of the Mystics will companion us in a lightly guided program of inspiration , nature, silence, story, sunset labyrinth, Yule Log ritual, Winter Solstice feast and Sacred Dance. You are invited to take time out of this busy season and enter the longest night of the year in community. Together we will take our place in the continuum of time, welcoming our Earth Star’s journey of returning light. Each dance will be taught, no experience required.

About the Leaders

Ellen Kennedy

Ellen Kennedy was trained and certified at The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland to teach Sacred Dance and has been teaching in the US and internationally for 28 years. She holds certificates in Basic and Advanced Shamanic Studies thru The Foundation for Shamanic Studies and is enrolled in the John Phillip Newell New England School for Celtic Consciousness.

Ellen has been a student of Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox for almost 30 years. His teachings on Creation Spirituality and The Four Paths burn bright in her heart. She is an Art as Mediation faculty member in the Creation Spirituality Movement. In collaboration with Fox, Ellen has led Sacred Circle Dance at seven Creation Spirituality retreats and the Spiral Dance at the Cosmic Mass; Parliament of World Religions, Toronto. She serves on the design team for Daily Meditations with Matthew Fox http://dailymeditationswithmatthewfox.org

As an International Peace Activist, Ellen has led Sacred Circle Dances for peace at the Syrian Border, Jerusalem, the banks of the Dead Sea, the US Naval Base Gangjeong, S. Korea, Imagine Peace Tower, Iceland and the John Lennon Park, Havana Cuba offering a grandmother’s love and compassion.
