SoulCare Summit: Who is my neighbor?with local community leaders
You are invited to set aside 24 hours this Good Friday/Holy Saturday to join a small group of pilgrims as we step onto the Via Dolorosa (The Way of Sorrow). Through Image, Logos, Sound and Sacred Dance we will enter the Passion of Jesus, held in the arms of Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene, illuminated by the Cosmic Christ. We will offer our prayers for Mother Earth, the people, places and situations around the world suffering and in need of healing love by placing wooden crosses on the land. Stones of compassion will be gathered for the building of a cairn at sunset. Beneath the Celtic cross under the full moonlight, the fire of our candles will burn bright as we hold vigil on this holy night.
John Dominic and Sarah Crossan’s short video, “The Challenge of Jesus’ Resurrection Today” will be shown followed by small group reflections.
