Program Details

Thomas, one of the Twelve, also known as Didymus (the Twin), is one of the most intriguing characters in the Gospels. Getting honorable mention in Matthew, Mark and Luke, he blossoms in John and earns a title that has stuck for 2,000 years– doubting Thomas. Revered by Syrian Christians as their patron saint, remembered by Indian Christians as the apostle who brought Christianity to South Asia, clues to Thomas’ character and significance are found in the New Testament, apocryphal texts, legends from early Christianity, and most importantly the Gospel which bears his name.

During our time together, we will explore once again this curious figure and search for new light from the Gospel which lay buried for 1600 years in the Egyptian desert.
