Science Workshop for Kids
At The Giving Garden

For kids ages 6-12 years old.

Join us for a hands-on workshop with plants! How do seeds know when to sprout? How do roots know which way is down? We’ll get to explore how plants grow and learn some of their secrets. Bring your curiosity and dress to get a little dirty. This event will be held outdoors and partly in our new greenhouse.

Registration is limited to 12 kids, Parents are welcome to stay and volunteer.

Led by Emily Strong, Farm Manager, The Giving Garden

The Giving Garden is a half-acre garden to feed the hungry on the grounds at Rolling Ridge. Our mission is to address local food insecurity by bringing together diverse communities of volunteers and guiding them in sustainable, organic farming practices.

This workshop is free thanks to the generosity of the North Andover Cultural Council.
