Program Details

We live in a polarized world that is growing ever more dualistic.  As Richard Rohr writes, "The dualistic mind pulls everything down into some kind of tit-for-tat system of false choices and too-simple contraries, which is largely what 'fast food religion' teaches, usually without even knowing it."

With an election year upon us and partisan politics at play, how do we who believe an all-loving God live out an embracive, unitive spirituality with all people (even those with whom we may disagree)?  Can non-dual or contemplative consciousness really make a difference in our world today?

We invite you to join us for a dinner conversation to engage with others who also struggle with such challenges.   With thought-provoking questions around the table and a larger communal discussion following, our program will highlight the compassionately expansive yet practical spirituality of world-renowned Franciscan priest and innovative thinker and theologian, Richard Rohr.
