Program Details

The holidays are coming, and with pandemic fears still spiraling, you may sense it might be another season of an empty home. No matter what your Thanksgiving or Christmas plans may hold, spiritual preparation is key in turning your "holidays" into "holy-days."

We invite you to spend a morning on retreat "Preparing for the Holy-Days" as we weave together Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas into a sacred sequence of welcoming Christ into our homes and allowing the Divine Presence of Love to fill our hearts. Join us for an ONLINE Resource Day, sponsored by the Katahdin District on Saturday, November 13th from 9 am to 12 noon.

Whether your holiday plans are filled with people or quietly spent alone or via Zoom, your soul will be blessed by this time of reflection, contemplative sharing, and prayer. Rolling Ridge Director, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Jay, will guide our time.

When you login to the event, please bring a holiday symbol that is meaningful to you, and if you are able, decorate your online space with holiday cheer.

Registration for this event is through the New England United Methodist Annual Conference.Click here for this free ONLINE event. All are welcome as we prepare our hearts and home for the holy days.
