Program Details

On Lake Cochichewick, we share in Lectio Divina, an ancient practice of listening to a piece of sacred wisdom three times. Each reading includes a question to ponder, followed by an extended time of paddling in silence.

On this paddle, we will be accompanied by the wisdom of poet and mystic Mary Oliver. Mary Oliver’s poetry is rooted in the natural beauty surrounding Provincetown, the outermost point on Cape Cod. She invites us into the spiritual practice of listening, noticing, and responding to the wisdom of creation. She writes, “Keep some room in your heart for the Unimaginable.”
