Join us for a morning of contemplative paddling on beautiful Lake Cochichewick. Facilitated by Kent Harrop, contemplative paddling by kayak or canoe immerses you in the splendor of nature as you become more aware of all that is around you and connect more deeply with God and creation. By paddling and drifting in silence you open yourself to the infinite ways that the Creator speaks.

NOTE:  Only in the unlikely event of dangerous winds or storms will this event be canceled.  Please dress accordingly, bring sunscreen and bug spray. Swimming is not allowed in Lake Cochichewick.

COVID19 Update:  Due to the need to remain a gathering of 10 or less, there will be limited numbers of available boats and registrations for this event.  Please prepare to be in kayaks ONLY since social distancing is not something two can do in a canoe, unless you're from the same family.  We will meet at Lakeside Launch (follow the path located on the backside of the office).  The house will NOT be open, and the only restroom facility is a portable toilet located in the parking lot.  Please be physically able of getting into a kayak by yourself.  Please WEAR A MASK.

This event is FREE OF CHARGE.  In the event you'd like to bring a lunch, you may do so and enjoy it on the grounds of Rolling Ridge after the paddle.  Snacks are allowed during your paddle.

Donations are graciously accepted to assist us in the COVID19 shutdown, and are much appreciated.
