Silence and Solitude
This is one of a three-part series which introduces three different time-honored spiritual practices in the contemplative tradition. Finding a rhythm of contemplative practices helps us open more fully to God, encouraging receptivity to God’s loving invitations in ways congruent with our personal desires. With hopes of this being a regular occurrence at Rolling Ridge (once in Spring and Fall), this practice-based series offers gracious guidance in each of the featured spiritual practices, inspiring conversations within shared learning, and meaning-filled reflections all in the company of curious others. Whether the featured practices are brand new to us or we are well-seasoned with them, we look forward to discovering together the gifts of these rhythms.
The three contemplative spiritual practices for Spring 2021 are:
•Silence/solitude (May 4)
•Lectio Divina and its variations (May 11)
•Savoring (May 18)
When: Three Tuesdays (May 4, 11 and 18) from 7 to 9 p.m. (eastern)
Where: Online, Zoom link available upon registration
Registration: $30 each session or $75 for the entire series. Registrations for each session close the day before.
Facilitator: John Kiemele, PhD., (North Hampton, NH)
