Join us on Saturday, November 15th as Rolling Ridge partners with the Giving Garden to bring you "Composting: A Meditative Practice for Self and Mother Earth."

This is a beginner’s composting workshop for those wanting to learn how to compost in their apartment or outside garden. The workshop will cover outdoor compost bins and also indoor worm bin or vermicomposting.  By the end of the workshop, everyone will have the foundational knowledge, and a list of resources  to make new soil from kitchen food scraps. All participants will take home a planter with spring bulbs and compost  to celebrate how growth is nurtured by compost or  “ black gold”.  The process of making compost will also be explored through readings and meditative practice, that deepen our relationship and appreciation for the cyclical nutrient cycle on Earth.

This workshop is being offered FREE OF CHANGE thanks to a grant from the North Andover Cultural Council.

Register today, there are only 15 seats available!
