As we move to the cross, we begin the day with worship including communion and will experience the passion story told by heart. Together in conversation and alone in contemplation, we will live into Jesus’ story–
·Praying in Gethsemane
·Judas’ Betrayal
·Peter’s Denial
Scripture we will hear and ponder: Luke 22:1-23:56.

About the Leaders

Cynthia Maybeck

Rev. Cindy Maybeck (she/her) provides spiritual direction to individuals and groups giving space for deep listening and connecting to God. She served as pastor in two churches in Central Massachusetts, both became Open and Affirming during her tenure. An inspiring preacher and engaging speaker, Rev. Maybeck launched her entrepreneurial Spirit Story ministry to tell biblical and personal stories in church and community settings. She studied spiritual guidance at Shalem Institute, leads retreats, and teaches spiritual practices. Cindy loves to sing, lives with her wife Elaine in Worcester, and enjoys time at their cottage in Ocean Park, Maine.
