As we move beyond the cross to the empty tomb, we begin the day with worship and songs of resurrection joy. Stories of transformation as we ponder the resurrected Christ interacting with the disciples as he -
·Opens scriptures on the road to Emmaus
·Appears to disciples– touch his hands!
·Ascends to heaven and blesses them
Scripture we will hear and ponder: Luke 24:1-53.
Rev. Cindy Maybeck (she/her) provides spiritual direction to individuals and groups giving space for deep listening and connecting to God. She served as pastor in two churches in Central Massachusetts, both became Open and Affirming during her tenure. An inspiring preacher and engaging speaker, Rev. Maybeck launched her entrepreneurial Spirit Story ministry to tell biblical and personal stories in church and community settings. She studied spiritual guidance at Shalem Institute, leads retreats, and teaches spiritual practices. Cindy loves to sing, lives with her wife Elaine in Worcester, and enjoys time at their cottage in Ocean Park, Maine.
