Elections and decisions made this year will have an impact on generations to come. For those who seek peace and long for a better world for all people and for our planet, what are we to do? On President's Day, we invite you to join us for a unique retreat as we create a safe space to explore the issues which divide us as a nation and offer time and space for silence, reflection, prayer, and conversation.

$70 for the Day Apart Retreat. However, we invite you to extend your time at the Ridge with an overnight retreat. Stay Monday night and join Mike Clark’s Day Apart retreat on Tuesday, February 18th as he asks the question, “How would Jeremiah vote?" and invites us to consider how we are making decisions during this election year. Come for both Monday and Tuesday Day Apart retreats, enjoy Monday dinner, your overnight stay in a private room and breakfast on Tuesday. Cost: $199 per person

About the Leaders

Lawrence Jay

As Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Jay guides the vision and direction of Rolling Ridge. As well as working with our staff to ensure the best possible guest experience, he partners with retreat leaders to provide excellent programming at the Ridge. A trained spiritual director and ordained American Baptist pastor, Larry (as he is known by friends) is a graduate of UCLA, Golden Gate Seminary, Franciscan School of Theology, American Baptist Seminary of the West, and the Gateways to God Missional Spiritual Direction Program. He is also Adjunct Faculty at Merrimack College in the Masters of Spirituality and Spiritual Direction programs. Eco-spirituality is his passion (and was the subject of his doctoral dissertation), encouraging everyone to live into the fullness of our connection with nature, God, and all people.
