Our “Listening Together” series is for all who practice deep listening as spiritual companions…for all who listen others into Life.  Twice each year we gather as deep listeners for intentional connections and pertinent conversations and resources that deepen and enrich our purposes and practices.  These are hybrids event hosting both onsite and online participants, creating greater access for our expanding network of spiritual companions.

The topic for our Fall 2022 hybrid gathering is “Listening Deep, Listening Wide” with guest presenter Heidi Miller, PhD on Thursday, September 29th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm eastern time.

Do you hear it?  Voices from every corner of current culture seem to be intensifying, calling for reliable, life-giving companions to help navigate relentless injustices, deconstructions, and upheavals. Pick the context and the need for deep listening is there.  The call for deep listeners/spiritual directors has never been greater.  The work of deep listeners/spiritual directors has never been more stretching.  This HYBRID event introduces the timely, wider work of being a justice-informed listening presence beyond the traditional one-on-one conversations held in personalized settings into the dynamic swirl of our surrounding “neighborhoods.”  How does context impact the practice of being present?  How might attention to our neighborhoods sharpen and stretch our call as deep listeners?   Join us for large and small group interactions, along with personal reflection (pastries and lunch for those onsite), as we experience this “Listening Together” topic together.

On Thursday, September 29th, we encourage 10:00 am arrival for coffee and pastries for those joining us onsite.   For those joining online, the event begins at 10:30 am eastern time.  Scroll down for registration fees.

Prior to our Listening Together event on September 29 (10:30 am to 1:30 pm eastern), we encourage you to consider joining us ONSITE for our "Sacred Pause" Retreat (overnight September 28)

Our SACRED PAUSE RETREAT invites you to take intentional 24-hours to slow the pace and widen the space…listening with the Divine Companion into the fullness of stillness.  In our oft-overcrowded lives, hitting the pause button offers a much-needed reset, a time filled with less in order to experience more.  Come… enjoy the quiet… experience the pause.
(Note:  This retreat provides great prelude to our “Listening Together” spiritual director/deep listener enrichment event on Thursday morning.)
