Community Pride Shabbat

Friday, June 23, 2023 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Join us at Rolling Ridge as Havurat Shalom from Andover invites the community to a PRIDE SHABBAT on Friday, June 23rd.  All are welcome - Jews and non-Jews alike!  This is an interfaith effort with Rabbi Karen Landy leading the service. A tot Shabbat picnic for young children and their families will start at 5:30pm in the picnic area at Rolling Ridge. The Shabbat service will begin at 6:30pm. All are welcome!

Please bring your own chairs and picnic blankets as the service will be in the beautiful grass near the picnic tables and Mico Kaufman statue entitled "The Web," adjacent to the main Rolling Ridge parking lot.

Interfaith clergy scheduled to participate with Rabbi Karen include:

  • Newly ordained Reverend Renée Manning, West Parish Church, United Church of Christ
  • Reverend Genevieve Hosterman, South Church, United Church of Christ
  • Reverend Adam Isbitsky, Ballard Vale United Church, United Church of Christ
  • Reverend Dr. Lawrence Jay, Rolling Ridge Director, American Baptist

We hope that you will join us as we celebrate the inclusion that comes as we join our hearts in prayer.

Although this event is free, your generous donation allows Rolling Ridge to offer mission-centered opportunities at no charge as we create a safe and sacred space that connects ALL people, God and creation.
