On the water we share in Lectio Divina, an ancient practice of listening to a piece of sacred wisdom, three times. Each reading includes a question to ponder followed by an extended time of paddling in silence. On this paddle on Lake Cochichewik, we will be
accompanied by the wisdom of indigenous author and PHD biologist Robin Wall Kimmerer. We will immerse ourselves in a reading from her book Braiding Sweetgrass.

This paradigm shifting book reminds us, that we are intricately connected to our
neighbors in the natural world.
