Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day (formerly Columbus Day) with us at Rolling Ridge!

This day apart retreat with our Naturalist Consultant, Todd Warfield, who is Pennacook by heritage, and his colleague, Dawn Evans, as they introduce us to herbalism, what it means to use plants medicinally while connecting to Indigenous perspectives about the use of medicinal plants. Join us as we explore herbal traditions and approaches to herbal remedies, herbal actions and energetics, and identifying and being in conversation with plants on Rolling Ridge property.

Registration costs: $87 for the program on the beautiful grounds of Rolling Ridge (9:30-3:00), pastries and lunch.

Add on an overnight and join us on Tuesday, October 15th for a day apart retreat with Henry Shoenfield on "Ways of Praying for Deeper Knowing."

About the Leaders

Dawn Evans

Dawn Evans is a woman of much creation. She is an artist, a trained herbalist, a plant lover, a weather watcher, a candle maker. Dawn specializes in Intuitive work when helping others with her creations, relying on her connection to source and all Energy to connect to clients. Dawn has been in the herbal medicine community for 20+ years and has been in business for almost as long. She studies Personal Growth, Self Help, Metaphysics, Spiritual paths and Religion, Science, Botany, Legends and Lore and brings them all together to create truly Magical and Wonderful things!

Todd Warfield

As our on-staff naturalist, Todd Warfield closely observes and shares his knowledge of the diverse flora and fauna found at Rolling Ridge. He has a particular interest in herbal medicine, teaching about the medicinal properties and traditional uses of native plants. Todd also provides insights into the Indigenous history of the land, in order to help guests appreciate the rich cultural heritage tied to this region. His aim is to help visitors to forge a deeper connection with the natural surroundings at the Ridge.
