Over the past few years, Rev. Lee Ireland has facilitated Gatherings of Women that have journeyed together.  Wisdom and healing have occurred with an ongoing desire to walk more deeply into the freedom and gracious love that God is inviting them to experience.

For the 2022-23 year, we invite women who have been part of the original group two years ago and the women who have just completed the first year to join together for a brand new "Gathering of Women: Continuing the Women's Journey."

We've explored our own journeys as we unpacked Maureen Murdock's life offering,  The Heroine's Journey.  We've also learned how to discern our images of God and re-evaluate our Christian understandings through a study of JP Newell's book, Listening to the Heartbeat of God.  This year, we will continuing learn how to listen more deeply to the guidance and voice of the Divine Spirit within our own lives as we use Julia Cameron's rich resource, The Artist's Way, as our guide.  We are often not fully aware of our creative talents but Julia offers an amazing guide for our personal discoveries.

The group will meet ONLINE on the fourth Saturday of the month from 9:30-11:30 am beginning Saturday, September 24th through June, navigating the calendar as a group during the holiday months.  There will be 9 sessions for the year.

Please note that this year, everyone will need to register and pay a nominal fee of $139 to receive the link and to support Lee and this ongoing ministry with women through Rolling Ridge.

About the leader(s)

Lee Ireland

Rev. Lee A. Ireland is a long-time Interim Pastor having served in many churches in CT and most recently in Rowley, MA. She is currently serving as the Designated Term Pastor at the Groton Congregational Church in CT.  She lives in Niantic, CT and is listening during this time of the pandemic.   She received her M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School, and trained as a Spiritual Director at Mercy Center, Madison, CT.  She has served in 12 different congregational settings as well as working in a women's prison and as a per diem hospital chaplain. Since 1990, she has had the joy of leading retreats. She is well aware of how life throws us curve balls and we can become distracted from our soul's journey because we focus on those things that lead us down dead-ends.  We begin to regain wonder and gratitude as we chose to take retreats and learn how to listen within so we can stay on our faith journeys, receive guidance from God and hear our hearts and souls singing in unexpected moments.  We then make new life choices that bring us greater peace within and fulfillment as we live, love and serve from that knowing.
