Advent Tools for Spiritual Companioning

Weekly 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

In this two part ONLINE series, we will reflect on Advent Themes and notice how they guide our prayer life throughout the Advent season and become tools for individual spiritual direction/companioning.  Spiritual Companioning is learning how to “listen to self in a deeper way” and “paying close attention” to what is being heard.

We will use the scripture texts of the Infancy Narratives during our Thursday evening sessions (December 1 and 8) and reflect on how each person listened to God and responded.  In many ways these were our first Spiritual Directors and Companions.  The sessions facilitated by experienced Sister Linda Greenwood will offer ways to connect their lives with our own this Advent season.

Registration Fee: $40 for the two sessions on Thursday December 1 and 8 at 8-9 pm eastern.

This event is being held in partnership with Prairie Retreat in Iowa.
