“Listening Together” – Experiencing Transitions- Thursday , September 23 from 10am-2pm.
“Listening Together” is for anyone who practices deep listening as a spiritual companion…who listens others into Life.  This series intends to provide regular connections and pertinent conversations and resources that deepen and enrich our purposes and practices as deep listeners.

The topic for our Fall gathering is “Experiencing Transitions.”   As we gradually emerge from the chaos of the pandemic  (including any number of life’s other disorienting changes), how might we better listen through these tumultuous times and better assist others through foreboding barriers, disruptions and losses?  “Experiencing Transitions” (based on the work of William Bridges) encourages us to listen in a way that helps others move through their transitions into meaningful experiences of Life’s new potentials.  We will explore the dynamics people experience as they release and realign for new beginnings, and how our listening presence assists that process.

Facilitators:  Gayle Kerr and John Kiemele

As a HYBRID event:
You can join us IN-PERSON onsite at the Ridge from 10:00-1:30 pm including lunch for $50
OR
You can join us ONLINE via Zoom from 10:00-12:00 noon for $30.
OR
You can come a Day Early for "A Sacred Pause" - a 24 hour IN-PERSON spiritual directors retreat including "Experiencing Transitions" for $150

Our "Sacred Pause" retreat invites you to take intentional time to slow the pace and widen the space...listening with the Divine Companion of our stillness.  In our oft-overcrowded lives, hitting the pause button offers a much needed reset, a time filled with less in order to experience more.  Come...enjoy the quiet...experience the pause.  Note: This retreat provides great preparation for our "Listening Together" spiritual director's enrichment event on Thursday.

Arrive as early as 2pm on Wednesday, September 22, and depart at 2pm on Thursday, September 23 for a 24 hour retreat at the Ridge.  Fee: $150 (includes the Thursday morning "Experiencing Transitions" session).  In other words, add dinner, overnight, and breakfast for just $100 and experience a spacious time for your spirit to soar in the silence of community in this sacred space of the Ridge.
