Learning to feel

Tuesday, March 7, 2023 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

How do you feel?

Somewhere between our societal preference for facts and logic and the continual numbing of our senses through exposure to hate and violence, many adults have lost the ability to fully tap into their emotions and emotional experiences as a source of guidance. We doubt our feelings and our inner voice and search - sometimes fruitlessly - for guidance elsewhere.

The truth is that we have evolved as emotional beings and can recapture our emotional wisdom once again.

Our Learning to Feel Day Apart Retreat will be based on exercises from Kris Girrell's forthcoming book and is a one-day journey to discover and dissolve the barriers between us and our emotional intelligence so that we can trust again what we are experiencing and learn to support others in their emotional experiences as well. The format will include group discussion, dyad and reflection.

Cost: $79 for the program and lunch
