The community is invited to this intergenerational celebration of our connection with the Earth through dance, ritual, and family-friendly activities.
Move and groove, be and enjoy, as we honor the beauty of this common planetary home we share with all creatures. 

Although the program doesn't begin until 6:30pm, you're welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the grounds any time after 5pm.

Lawrence Jay

As the Executive Director, Lawrence works in partnership with the staff to ensure that the guest experience at the Ridge is top quality.  He also partners with retreat leaders to provide excellent programming at the Ridge, and is available to speak about the ongoing ministry and historic mission of Rolling Ridge as a place of rest, retreat, and transformation.

Ellen Kennedy

Ellen Kennedy delights in weaving the threads of creative experience into the fabric of events and gatherings through the gift of Sacred Circle Dance (SCD) and is grateful to be sharing dance at Rolling Ridge.  Trained and certified at The Findhorn Foundation, Scotland. https://www.findhorn.org,  she has developed, organized and led SCD workshops, trainings, events and retreats in the US, Mexico, Scotland, Ireland,  Iceland, S. Korea and Israel and founded of the Mt. Holyoke College Sacred Circle Dance Troupe, directing it for four years. Locally she has taught in the Newburyport School system, North Shore Community College and Salem State University.
Ellen embodies the thinking of Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox   http://www.matthewfox.org  and Creation Spirituality in dance and teaches others to do the same, building community in group dynamics. She is a faculty member of the Fox Institute of Creation Spirituality – offering: The Round Dances of Creation Spirituality/Art as Mediation http://www.foxinstitute-cs.org  and has led SCD at numerous conferences, retreats with Matthew Fox.   Ellen is a visionary in The Order of the Sacred Earth movement. https://www.orderofthesacredearth.org  
and currently enrolled in John Phillip Newell’s New England School of Celtic Conciseness. https://heartbeatjourney.org
As an International Peace Activist, Ellen has danced on the Earth for Peace and Solidarity at the Syrian Border; the US Naval Base in S. Korea, The Imagine Peace Tower, Reykjavik, Iceland, John Lennon Park, Havana Cuba and with Matthew Fox at The Cosmic Mass, Parliament of World Religions, Toronto bringing a grandmother’s love and compassion.  She organizes and guides occasional pilgrimages:  Findhorn/Iona, Scotland; Iceland 2015/2017; Imagine Peace Cuban Tour 2017/2018 and Beltane Pilgrimage to Ireland May, 2019.
