Advent Quiet Day 2022

Monday, November 28, 2022 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

In the busy-ness of the season, we invite you to come away to the Ridge and gather together IN-PERSON as we make time to embrace the waiting and settling in as we take time to breathe in the hope, joy, peace and love that this time of Advent offers.

In the quiet and silence of this retreat, we invite you to sit, linger, ponder, behold, wander, wonder...wait. We will offer some reflections and spiritual exercises to prepare you for the holy-days of Advent. During the times of silence, there will also be nativity scenes from around the world for reflection, Christmas stories, items to create, coloring pages and mandalas to capture your feelings and reflections of the day.  We will also have both indoor and outdoor labyrinths as you walk through the day.

We invite you to sit by the fire, enjoy the beauty of the Ridge, and live into the season of Advent as we prepare our hearts for Christmas. Join us on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 9:30am –3:30pm for $79 (includes lunch).

PLEASE NOTE:  This is a Day Apart ONSITE event.  It begins at 9:30am and runs to 3:30pm.  There is a lunch break at 12:30 and luncheon is served in the Lakeside Gallery Dining Room.

We invite you to join us for our ONLINE weekly Advent Prayer Journey beginning on Sunday, November 27th from 6-7 pm, continuing through Sunday, January 1st.  Larry Peacock's book, "The Living Nativity: Preparing for Christmas with St Francis," will be our guide this season.  (A limited number of signed copies available for purchase from the Ridge.)
