Insight: Guided Online Supervision
Monthly on the 2nd Thursday except 12/8/2022 10:00 AM to Thursday, May 11, 2023 12:00 PM
Have you recently completed a spiritual direction training program and are wondering where you will get the support you need to practice the art of spiritual direction? Have you been engaged in spiritual formation ministries or meeting with spiritual direction clients (directees) for quite some time and want a guided supervision group to help you continue to listen and learn?
In September, Insight begins as an 8 session guided supervision group, giving those engaged in ministries of spiritual companionship an opportunity to grow and deepen their practice of ministry.
Our time together will provide support, fellowship, supervision and learning. Anyone committed to compassionate listening on behalf of another and who respects the varied and unique spiritual journeys of others is welcome to participate. Supervision for spiritual directors is essential to offering the best possible version of this significant work.
The group will be led by Beth Garnaas-Holmes and Andrea Bliss-Lerman, both trained spiritual directors and supervisors who have worked with Rolling Ridge programs for many years.
Each online session will include:
• Fellowship
• Centering worship
• Small group time to examine our own hearts related to specific spiritual direction or spiritual formation ministry experiences.
There will also be opportunities over the course of the year to explore continuing education conversations on topics related to spiritual guidance and support.
We will meet by Zoom on the second Thursday of the month from 10am to noon. (September through May, with no session in December)
Registration Fee: $400 paid in full for all 8 sessions with full time participation only. No refunds upon registration.
Dates: 9/8, 10/13, 11/10, 1/12, 2/9. 3/9, 4/13, 5/9
