As clergy, we know that these are challenging times.  While you care for your congregation, we at Rolling Ridge are here to care for you!  That is why we've launched a Soul Care group just for pastors.  These times become safe and sacred spaces for you to get real with God and with other church leaders who understand the pressures you are going through.

Research shows that experiencing prolonged challenges, persistent disruptions, endless stressors, disorientation, compassion fatigue, or emotional exhaustion over an extended length of time erodes our sense of well-being and limits our capacity to respond in positive, flexible and effective ways. And for clergy, we know that this gets compounded.

According to several studies, one vital factor for enhancing personal well-being and how we function is having intentional, supportive connections with others.

At Rolling Ridge this matters to us.  One way we encourage intentional, supportive connections is through SoulCare Groups, regular gatherings of 8-12 people who share mutual support, encouragement, and insight through personal stories, generous listening, and guided spiritual practices all in a safe and confidential environment.  Soul Care is taking time in community to be with God who is present in our struggles.

As you arrange your priorities and resources, we invite you to consider being a part of a clergy SoulCare Group, offering a regular and effective way to navigate current challenges, mitigate surrounding stressors and dis-ease, and improve overall personal and professional wellbeing.  This SoulCare Group will meet once each month on the third Thursday from 9 – 10 a.m.  beginning Thursday February 18, 2021.

This will be an online group facilitated by Rolling Ridge Program Director, Rev. John Kiemele, PhD.  Although there is no fee for this monthly drop-in group, an offering to Rolling Ridge upon registration is appreciated as it allows us to continue offering an array of spiritual programs.  Thank you for your financial support.
