Gathering of women 2021...continued
Monthly on the 4th Saturday 9:30 AM to Saturday, May 22, 2021 11:30 AM
Are you looking for a community of women with whom you can discuss the core issues and concerns of your spiritual journey?
Many women joined with Rev. Lee Ireland for an initial Gathering of Women in September, giving thanks for the chance to walk together and share experiences at this time of major transition in how we live our lives due to the COVID pandemic.
With some women working as always, others working remotely, some sheltering-in-place, others unemployed or in retirement, some concerned with paying bills, others tending to children at home, it is important to be able to share and listen and learn together. The past year has been one of many emotional demands on who we are and how to function as people of faith.
As we create a safe community that embraces the diversity of women's experiences today, we continue the conversation looking at Maureen Murdock’s profoundly wise book, “The Heroine’s Journey.” Each month, Lee reviews two chapters of Maureen Murdock’s descriptive life work to help us understand better a woman’s evolutionary path of spiritual growth. The book serves as a resource, not a requirement for participation.
The Schedule (monthly online on the fourth Saturday morning of the month from 9:30 to 11:30):
- December 5, 2021: Chapter 1 and 2
- January 16, 2021: Chapter 3 and 4
- February 27, 2021: Chapter 5 and 6
- March 27, 2021: Chapter 7 and 8
- April 24, 2021: Chapter 9 and 10
- May 22, 2021: We will gather and reflect on our years' journey
