Worship in the Woods
Monthly on the 4th Sunday 3:00 PM
As restrictions on meetings are easing, our monthly Worship in the Woods will begin gathering again on the fourth Sunday of the month.
At our upcoming Worship in the Woods, on Sunday, August 23rd, Marie Rudzinsky will be our guest leader and will facilitate a time of mindful walking to wake-up our senses to our connection with the Earth. We will meet in the parking lot and using some mindfulness exercises, we will journey as a group to Point of Pines, our outdoor chapel.
Join us as we connect all people, God and creation through nature contemplation.
Celebrate the Divine presence in all things as we seek to live in harmony with everyone and everything. Transform yourself and renew the Earth as we worship together on the beautiful shore of Lake Cochichewick.
Rooted in the Christian tradition, Worship in the Woods is open to people of all faiths and in all stages of the spiritual path. If nature is your "church", this is the place for you. For more on nature contemplation, check out Lawrence's blog here.
Registration is free, and encouraged. Please wear a face mask and be prepared to maintain physical distancing as we gather. Also note that there will be no access to the Rolling Ridge mansion. Portable toilets will be available in the parking lot.
Check this web page the day before for weather preparation updates.
FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 23rd: We will update the weather report by Saturday, August 22nd. Please arrive wearing a face mask and be prepared to maintain physical distance. We will meet in the parking lot and using some mindfulness exercises, we will journey as a group to Point of Pines.
