Worship in the Woods
Monthly on the 4th Sunday 3:00 PM
As restrictions on meetings are easing, our monthly Worship in the Woods will begin gathering again beginning on Sunday, June 28th and continuing on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Join us at Point of Pines, the outdoor chapel at Rolling Ridge, as we connect all people, God and creation through nature contemplation.
Celebrate the Divine presence in all things as we seek to live in harmony with everyone and everything. Transform yourself and renew the Earth as we worship together on the beautiful shore of Lake Cochichewick.
Rooted in the Christian tradition, Worship in the Woods is open to people of all faiths and in all stages of the spiritual path. If nature is your "church", this is the place for you. For more on nature contemplation, check out Lawrence's blog here.
Registration is free, and encouraged. Please wear a face mask and be prepared to maintain physical distancing as we gather. Also note that there will be no access to the Rolling Ridge mansion and no restroom facilities available.
Check this web page the day before for weather preparation updates.
FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 28th: As of Saturday, the forecast is low-80's, humid and sunny, with a very slight chance of showers in the evening. Please wear a face mask and be prepared to maintain physical distance. For those who have not joined us before, meet in the Rolling Ridge main parking lot by 3:05 pm to receive directions to Point of Pines Outdoor Chapel. Point of Pines is a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot. We will begin the program about 3:15 pm at Point of Pines.
