In partnership with ISHA (Institute of Spiritual Healing & Aromatherapy, Rolling Ridge is now able to offer a one-year certificate training program in Healing Touch Spiritual Ministries. Building on the Christian tradition of the laying-on of hands and anointing, a Healing Touch spiritual ministry program can help energize your church community, equip lay leadership, and build a network of pastoral care. Margaret Leslie, President of ISHA, and Jan Whitten, trained Healing Touch practitioner, will provide instruction, as participants provide support and encouragement as a cohort community.     Register for upcoming sessions in a cohort, retreat setting. Session dates are:
- January 27-29, 2019 = Session 2: Using Your Hands to Heal (HTSM103) Cost: $650.00
- May 12-14, 2019 = Session 3: Forming a Healing Practice  (HTSM104) Cost: $650.00
- September 15-18, 2019 = Session 4: The Art of Listening to Spiritual Guidance  (HTSM105) Cost: $895.00

Margaret Leslie

Margaret Leslie,  MS, LMT, HTSM-CP/I, CCA; President of ISHA & Director of the HTSM Program
Margaret is a certified Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Practitioner/Instructor and Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with 25-years’ experience as a School Psychologist. Since her first class in Healing Touch, she has felt called to teach this work and spread healing wherever possible. In 1996, she began coordinating Healing Touch, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry and Clinical Aromatherapy classes in the Knoxville area and has led retreats and offered healing sessions through local churches.  For over 20 years, she has maintained a private practice in Knoxville and Dandridge, TN. Bountiful Health Magazine published her article on Healing Touch in the treatment of breast cancer. 
As President of ISHA and Director of HTSM, Margaret’s dream is to see this work being taught in areas of need, such as with Veterans, on Indian reservations, in housing projects and in areas of crisis. She volunteers to teach this work in third world areas and shares in the Healing Ministry of her church.

Jan Whitten

Jan Whitten,  Deaconess– APRN, MS, HTCP, HTSM-CP/I
Jan, also known as Jana Marie, is a holistic nurse with almost 40 years of experience working with adults in  acute care, home care, nursing education, and mental health. She maintains a private practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner where she integrates Healing Touch and other holistic modalities.  
As a Deaconess in the United Methodist Church, she follows her calling as congregational health minister/ leader of healing ministry, providing spiritual direction, and leading retreats. Jana Marie feels deeply called to healing ministry and to helping others to be themselves fully. She has a Master’s Degree in Community Health Nursing, graduate certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, certificate in Congregational Health Ministry, and certificate in Spiritual Direction. Her dream is to bring Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry to Haiti.
