Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center is a peaceful, beautiful and historic place offering hospitality to groups and individuals seeking a secluded yet easily accessible space for day meetings, overnight conferences and retreats or community-wide festivals and events.

Rolling Ridge also offers 30 or more programs a year that are open to any who seek a day apart or a time to focus on personal enrichment in the areas of spirituality, wellness, and social compassion.

In the summer time, the 38 acres of Rolling Ridge are available for group or family picnics, weddings and outdoor festival or events.

This part time job requires flexible scheduling, evening hours, weekend hours and provides an opportunity to be creative and serve a diverse guest population.

We are looking for someone with:
- Exceptional culinary skills and ability to serve groups from 2 to 80
- Ability to respond to guests needs and changing and fluctuating hours and schedules
-Conscientious and through in following menus, and able to cook for a variety of diets, including vegetarian and vegan
- Ability to work within a kitchen budget
-Customer service mentality and ability to function as part of a team
-Up to date ServSafe certificate

Position Summary:

Host/Guest Services

 
Rolling Ridge seeks experienced and capable host staff to start immediately. This part-time job has flexible evening and weekend hours to accommodate guests schedules.

We are looking for someone:

-Able to greet and welcome guests in a pleasant manner and comfortable in speaking to groups
-Attentive to the needs of groups, being visible but not intrusive
-Hard- working and observant, maintaining the beverage station and the common rooms, being a liaison between guests and the kitchen during meal times, helping out where needes
-A friendly personality in meeting guests needs
-Attentive to cleanliness in the common areas and meeting rooms
-Ability to work as part of a hospitality team
-Service and housekeeping skills, including vaccuming, emptying trash and checking bathrooms
-Thorough in following a check list for set up or closing details
